The new campus opened August 2023 and already we are succeeding. The staff is slowly opening after 3 years construction. It has been a while since we’ve run classes and so we are ramping up slowly so that we create great work habits and a beautiful community.
In the fall we ran 1 and 2 month workshops in Backpack making, Macramé, Handbag creation and youth robotics. Innovative former students taught all of these classes. These former students are excited to share what they have created with new students. The chance to give back to their community not only gives them more experience in their professional careers, it also provides a platform to create positive change in their community. The only solution for a better tomorrow will have to come from within and Jakmel Ekspresyon is dedicated to developing future Haitian Leaders. The youth are the true hope for Haiti!
